I am delighted to have you join me (that's me just above) on my website, and I'd like to tell you a little about myself, my dreams, and my thoughts gleaned from my 71 years of life in this great United States of America. I'm retired, basically on social security. Upon retirement, I thought I'd like to supplement my income, and I certainly didn't want to just vegetate. You can get old doing that. So, as a way to sort of keep up with the grandkids, I decided to promote something on the internet.
I decided I should pursue a niche that I was passionate about, and that I had had some experience with, because I certainly hadn't had any experience with a PC. I immediately knew what I had to promote, because I had found the secret to blissful sleep, and it seemed that hardly anyone else that I knew, had ever heard of the secret to blissful sleep. I am, of course, talking about buckwheat pillows.
And not just any buckwheat pillows, but about quality, organic, buckwheat pillows handcrafted right here in the good old USA, made of organic buckwheat hulls and cotton grown right here, too. Some years ago, I had somehow heard about these marvelous pillows, which were known to have been in use in ancient Egypt, and then having been introduced through trade to the Orient, where they have been in use for nearly 3,000 years, but seemed to be virtually unknown here.
I started searching for them, but really couldn't find anything that suited me. However, I did find a source of suitable buckwheat hulls. So I prevailed upon a friend of mine, a seamstress, to sew up for me a couple of buckwheat pillows, which I still use to this day. I never go anywhere overnight without 1 of my beloved buckwheat pillows.
In nearly 72 years of seeing our stores regress from being filled with high quality merchandise made by conscientious American craftsmen, to now finding them predominantly filled with inferior, cheaply made foreign junk that sometimes falls apart without even surviving the trip home, I've become disillusioned with our culture in that respect.
We, as a nation, no longer seem to appreciate value and quality. Today, it seems people will buy anything, if it's cheap enough. When I was young, we used to buy things that would, in many cases, last us through our lifetimes, and then be passed on to children, and then to grandchildren, little the worse for wear.
The biggest shame of this cultural decline, is the loss of jobs here at home. Our work force used to thrive on producing quality products, but it became victim to the cheap foreign labor producing vastly inferior products. Therefore, I persisted until I found a source of the highest quality handcrafted, organic buckwheat pillows, made entirely from organic buckwheat hulls and cotton grown right here in the USA, by a family who make 1 pillow at a time.
Now I know I'm not going to change the way that America at large is going to do business, but at least I'll have the satisfaction of knowing that I'm providing Americans with the means of getting a really good night's sleep, if they invest in one of my high quality, handcrafted, hypoallergenic, organic, buckwheat hull pillows.
For good measure, I give a free lavender aromatherapy sachet with each pillow . I also provide 1 full year satisfaction or money back guarantee.
In my attained rank of seasoned citizen, I can at least say that I sleep very well at night. There are 2 reasons for that. First, because I am proud to be doing my part in promoting a quality product that is made right here in the good old USA, and secondly, because I sleep on one of them (a buckwheat pillow).
Now, you have a really good night's sleep, and sweet dreams.
